I'll make every effort to get back to you within 48 hours. Your well-being and comfort are paramount, and I'm here to support you every step of the way.

Our offices are conveniently situated in the digital realm! We strongly believe in extending our services to reach as many people as possible, and conducting sessions online allows us to remove some of the barriers that might otherwise hinder individuals from accessing the support they need.
We provide counselling through JaneApp's secure video platform and also offer phone sessions. We understand that in certain parts of British Columbia, establishing a reliable internet connection can be challenging. Our goal is to make sure that wherever you are, you can still access the support and guidance you seek.
Is telehealth right for me?

When receiving counselling virtually, having a quiet space where you feel comfortable and safe is super important! If one of these spaces isn't readily available, there are ways to get privacy during sessions. Options include using headphones and a microphone so that only your side of the conversation is audible, playing white noise or soothing music outside the door, or ensuring that you have the house to yourself during your session. We often use many of these strategies to ensure your privacy as well!
You're welcome to come to our sessions from anywhere in BC, and sometimes hopping on public WiFi is an option! However, it's good to be mindful of whether you can be seen or overheard, such as in spaces like your car, cafes, or airports. We can't guarantee the confidentiality of what we discuss in these settings.

Are your services covered?

The availability of insurance coverage depends on your specific plan. We recommend reaching out to your plan provider to confirm whether they cover the services of a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). If your plan includes this coverage, that's fantastic! We are more than willing to provide you with a receipt that you can submit for reimbursement.
At this time, we have some capability for direct billing, depending on your insurance provider. We're more than happy to explore options with you to get reimbursed for your sessions.
Do I have to do homework?

The use of worksheets varies from person to person. While some individuals find them beneficial, others may not be as fond of them. We often lean towards a preference for setting attainable goals during our sessions rather than relying heavily on homework. This approach allows you to experience personal growth between our sessions and often makes the process more enjoyable. It's all about tailoring our work to what works best for you.
Complimentary Meet-and-Greet
Choosing the right therapist is an important decision, and we want you to feel confident in your choice. That's why we offer complimentary meet-and-greet appointments. This initial 15-minute session provides an opportunity to introduce yourself, discuss your concerns, and ask any questions you might have about the counseling process. It's a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to determine if our approach aligns with your needs. This brief but meaningful conversation is a no-pressure way to see if we're the right fit for your journey toward your ideal self!
